Hi! I am helping my husband with his Lyme Disease case. Do you know if there are any approved for compensation (lost pay) cases where the Lyme patient had the bullseye rash and latter had a reoccurrence of Lyme symptoms without a positive lab tests? Has a clinical diagnosis ever been accepted by the OWCP? I sent some time looking through the ECAB decisions but have not found one.

It doesn't matter if any case has been accepted before if the medical evidence shows the injury is work-related a physician needs to write a medical narrative regarding causation.

I will look and see if I can find any Lyme disease cases. I'll let you know.

Thought I would let you know that the Lyme Disease tests are notoriously inaccurate. I had the bulls eye rash and was very sick for months and had three negative tests. It has been a long time so I don't have websites handy, but it was not hard to find. Doctors said the rash and sickness is what they go by not the test.
